Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program

How to Apply

1. Download the Request for Applications for full program description and directions.
2. Download the Letter of Intent to Apply and submit your letter by March 22, 2010 (optional). You may still apply for funding even if you did not submit a letter of intent.
3. Download the Project Application Form and the Activity Narrative Form and prepare your application. A complete application will contain:
   1. One (1) Project Application Form AND
   2. A separate Activity Narrative Form for EACH ACTIVITY PROPOSED. You may propose multiple activities up to a total project cost not to exceed $750,000.
4. Submit your application. Applications must be received by 12:00 pm (noon) on April 30, 2010.
   Applicants must submit one (1) clearly marked original and four (4) additional hard copies of the full application with supporting documents by mail or hand delivery to:

Using a shipping service that provides tracking is advised. Applications that are not delivered by the deadline will not be considered for funding. Acceptance by the United States Postal Service or private mailer does not constitute delivery. In addition to the hard copies, applicants are encouraged to include an electronic copy (either PDF or Word format) on CD or USB drive, but this is optional.

Applications will not be accepted by fax or e-mail.
